TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Dear Guests,
please read carefully the booking terms and cancellation policy of the B & B AMATE ’SUITE shown below.
RESERVATION
Each reservation, after its confirmation, has the value of a contract according to current Italian legislation, binding both for the person making the reservation and for the hotelier.
You can send an availability request and wait for our response.
Alternatively, you can book online by following the instructions available on our website www.amatesuite.it.
Following the request, you will be sent a (non-binding) offer with the booking methods.
The reservation is confirmed only after our written communication showing the total price of the stay and after sending a credit card as a guarantee (number, expiry date and CVV) or making the transfer in the case of a non-refundable rate, to be made within 2 days of our confirmation.
If the payment is not made within the requested time, the reservation is to be understood as void.
The reservation becomes binding for the B&B Amatè Suite only upon receipt of a copy of the payment receipt or credit card details.
Send a copy of the payment via email ([email protected]) or via whats-up.
At this point, the B&B Amatè Suite will undertake to send the customer a confirmation e-mail or a summary voucher to be shown at check-in.
Confirmation of booking implies acceptance of our cancellation terms.
We kindly ask you to check the accuracy of the aforementioned confirmation data and to notify us of any anomalies as soon as possible.
PAYMENT
Payment methods accepted:
• Cash
• Bank transfer
• Credit card
The balance of the reservation must be paid upon arrival or in any case before departure.
Any extras must be paid for before departure.
For payments by bank transfer we indicate below the data:

Pre-authorization:
The B & B Amatè Suite reserves the right to check the validity of the credit card before the customer's arrival by requesting a pre-authorization from the membership circuit. With the pre-authorization, the B&B guarantees the temporary availability of the total amount of the stay, or part of it, to ensure that the credit card is valid. NO AMOUNT IS COLLECTED.
The pre-authorization expires automatically after 20 days from the requested date and the amount is released. In case of unsuccessful pre-authorization, the customer will be notified and the reservation will be canceled. In this case the B&B will have no obligation towards the customer.
CITY TAX
The Municipality of Lecce has established the tourist tax according to the season.
• Low season rate from 01/11 to 30/04 equal to € 1.50 per person per night for a maximum of 5 consecutive nights.
• High season rate from 01/05 to 31/10 equal to € 2.50 per person per night for a maximum of 5 consecutive nights.
The city tax is not included in the rate and must be paid in cash upon departure.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Any cancellation of booking must be communicated in writing.
For the cancellation conditions please refer to your booking confirmation where the type of rate is indicated.
Refundable rate:
In case of cancellation or changes made up to 7 days before the check-in date, no fee will be charged.
For cancellations or changes after the aforementioned deadline, the penalty will be charged to the credit card given as guarantee as follows:
• 50% penalty for those who cancel between 7 and 3 days from the check-in date.
• 100% penalty for those who cancel in the 3 days prior to check-in.
This cancellation policy is not valid for the discounted Non-Refundable rate.
Non Refundable Rate:
If this rate is booked (which has a 10% discount on the refundable rate), the full amount is charged to the credit card or requested by bank transfer.
No reimbursement is due to the guest who decides to interrupt the stay already undertaken and therefore is required to pay for the entire booked stay.
In case of cancellation due to force majeure demonstrated by the guest, the amount of the stay will still be collected according to the above conditions and a voucher of the same amount will be issued.
The Voucher can be used for a future stay in our B&B within three months from the date of the stay, to be agreed with the B&B Amatè Suite, subject to availability and with the possible update of the rate according to the chosen period.
After this date, the amount of the stay will be retained as a cancellation penalty.
NO SHOW (NO-PRESENTATION)
In case of no-show, the deposit will be withheld, or the cost of the stay will be charged to the credit card, given as guarantee.
CAUSES OF FORCE MAJEURE
The management declines all responsibility for disservices due to lack of supplies, accidental equipment failures or other causes of force majeure.
